The first ever Early Education for Every Child fundraising drive is well underway. With just 3 weeks left to raise funds, we need YOUR HELP in reaching out to your friends and colleagues. Please take a moment to download and print our Pledge Log below. Simply reach out to people you know in the community to support a great cause!
The top 3 individuals with the MOST PEOPLE PLEDGED will be recognized for their efforts with a complementary Little Musician license!
This is not recognition of the most money raised, but rather recognition of the effort put forth in getting the most people signed up on their Pledge Logs.
The concept of crowd-funding is that lots of people can chip in to collectively make a huge difference. Sounds simple enough, right? However, the major challenge in asking a group of people, such as this forum, to support a cause is overcoming the "Bystander Effect," or the assumption that "someone else will help." That can lead people to believe that their individual donation is not really needed because so many other members will support the campaign. This is a misconception!
YOUR PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION, of any amount, is most definitely needed and matters very much! We simply cannot CREATE a crowd without individuals, such as yourself, in it. We DO need your donation, and we'd love for you to be an Ambassador of Early Learning by sharing the message with others with our Pledge Log. Contest Mechanics:1.) Each participant must download and print out the Pledge Log.
2.) Get your neighbors, friends, family members, office mates - just about anyone! - to sign the pledge log and commit to a donation amount.
3.) Make sure to call the people on your Pledge Log and remind them to make their donations online at the StartSomeGood website for EEECF before October 15th, 2012:

At the end of the fund raising period send us a scanned copy of your Pledge Log at support [at] brillkids [dot] com. If you don't have a scanner, a typed out excel sheet of the information will do. We will countercheck all donations with the names of the people on your Pledge Log.
5.) The person with the most number of pledges (with donations of course) WINS!
