Im in West Sussex teaching LR and LM to my youngest. Am struggling with the older one to keep her engaged although she loves to show the younger one how to!

Having read the BK email sent out today about meeting up - well Im going to be brave and say Id like to register an interest to meet up with others locally. I know my elder one is more interested in reading etc when there are other kids of her age around who can do it too - they seem to feed off each other.

Im prepared to travel within West Sussex and into some of East Sussex although distance may make it too hard? So although Ive never done anything like this before off the internet if there are other parents out there who are doing this and are happy to meet up somewhere central to all of us then let me know!

Id like to meet up with others to give my kidsthe chance to interact with other kids whove been through YBCR and Brillkids etc

Hi, I am Carmyl from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and I have a 3+ and a 11 month old boys.  I really enjoy using the tools especially LR.  I also teaches them ASL through signing time DVDs (formerly I was from the USA)  even though we are living in England.

Hello everyone

I have just started teaching my 20 month old son LR and shall be ding LM too.

I think it's great as running businesses means that time is always an issue. I love this so much that I am exploring possibilities to distribute in the UK. If anyone is interested in earning an extra income, please let me know

I am based between Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and would love to find out how others are getting on with LR and LM

Hi All,

great to see a few of us here in the UK doing LR, LM etc.

I am a full time working mum to 2  year old Amani Maryam - we do the best to use LR and LM at one end of the day...so far the LR seems more popular but I never sure how much is really going in! best case tho her vocab is expanding!

I have been pleasantly surprised when reading one of the BK books with her recenlty tho

We live in Royal Victoria Docks East London  I know one other mum who does not live too far too.

It would be great to meet up with others

I would not mind travelling a bit but could only really do weekends unless I took a day off work

Hi,
I live in Essex. I am doing YBCR with my little one for the past 5 months. My baby is 11 months old. He is losing interest with YBCR as the dvds are too long and it is difficult to get his attention. I find LR and LM bit expensive. Still thinking if I should go for it or not. Could you please provide your feedback on LR and LM. Should I go for the 6 or 12 month curriculum?
