I hope I can find some locals
We do travel a lot and of course i would like to meet up with other moms on the road-but I envision creating a network of caring parents who value education, share resources, support one another, make play dates for the kids etc.
I started the doman program 9 years ago with my first child with AMAZING results-reading by age 2, can remember anything and has an amazingly loving disposition-honestly it was somewhat scary how he absorbed everything reading words like Reticulated Giraffe and Red Tail Boa Constrictor words that most 3 year olds cannot even say. Since then I have done various levels of Doman programs with all my kids with various levels of results. Not with the same intensity but with other education methods such as Waldorf, Charlotte Mason and now we own a Montessori school so of course that as well
Oh and Classical Education using CC-wow this is an amazing next step for you home schooling parents!
Anyway, I am passionate about education, raising not only bright but loving children and creating strong family values. It would be wonderful to share my resources and create new memories with other parents. I have always gone on this trail by myself and would just love some support from others close by
I have been super busy these past three years and I can see my children really needing more of my attention so its time to put the school on auto pilot at least somewhat and go back to my first and true love-spending quality time with my children going to museums, plays, classes and of course creating programs. My second child I suspect has some issues with Auditory as it has been an uphill battle for reading and yet he is incredibly bright and capable often times at the top of his classes we attend so I have been trying to wrap my head around the best way to not only diagnose but help close the gaps (he is compensating with his amazing memory and visual skills and I would like to insure he has all his usage of all his passageways!)
Hope to hear from others.
