Yeah, that sounds like a great idea!
One other thing I would do is perform an advanced search (you can do so by using the link at the upper right corner of our forum) and search for the keywords "New Zealand" or "NZ" at the INTRODUCTIONS board. I'm sure that there might have been other parents who have introduced themselves and mentioned where they come from, so you might get a few results from there. Just post in their announcement threads telling them about this topic so they can come over here and post their willingness to have an NZ board open!
