Hi All.
I am a mother of two (Hammaad who is 2 and Safiyya, 3 months). I would love my children to be fluent in Arabic and short of moving to the Middle East I'm struggling to see how I can facilitate this! I think something like a bilingual playgroup would really help, but unfortunately I can't find one in my area (East London, UK)
So, I have decided I should set one up myself. I don't have any experience (or the language skills myself) so any ideas and advice would be appreciated.
Has anyone attended/run sessions like these?
Were they beneficial?
How are these sessions run? e.g. do you go for lots of exposure to the foreign language with stories, commands songs etc immediately or should you start with flashcards etc to introduce vocabulary?
