Hi Minmin!
Thanks for following up here in the forum.
We are sorry that you didn't get our reply sooner!
It would seem that when you edited the Chinese Curriculum for Little Reader (by adding your own photos, or changing the pronunciation files), you did not save the files under a different filename.
This means that when you updated the Chinese Curriculum - the new Chinese Curriculum overwrote your changes.
To explain further: this is similar to having a folder in your computer named "Little Reader Chinese Curriculum". If you changed anything in "Little Reader Chinese Curriculum" and did not save it with a different name, then if you update "Little Reader Chinese Curriculum", you would have essentially overwritten the old one and any changes you made to it.
We are very sorry, but you will unfortunately need to add your media files again.
The good news is that if your media files did not use the same file-naming system BrillKids uses for BrillKids media files, then they will still be in your computer. You will just need to re-attach them.
Moving forward, please remember to
"SAVE AS" for every word which you edit. This will ensure that you use a different filename for each one.
We're sorry that this may not be an easy solution, however we hope that this will be a reminder for anyone who edits our curricula to please use the "SAVE AS" function for each word so it will never be overwritten again.
