World of Warcraft Classic is set to launch later this month, but depending on the MMO realm you select to play in, the wait time to login could be ridiculous. As Eurogamer reports, in the run up to launch Blizzard is allowing players to reserve a character name and choose a preferred realm to play in. The problem is, one realm in particular is proving to be extremely popular. It's called Herod and there's so many players selecting it Blizzard believes the login queue will be "in excess of 10,000 players."
A login queue simply means waiting to be allowed to login to the server to play. If there's a handful of players waiting ahead of you, then there's time to go make a coffee. However, 10,000+ players in the queue and you might as well go play something else and try again another day. When starting to play World of Warcraft Classic game,
WOW Classic Gold is a necessary element on condition that you would like to hold a leadership position in World of Warcraft Classic game.
“We recently opened up the Stalagg realm, and we urge players on Herod to consider moving there,” Blizzard said. “There are a lot of players currently on Herod and we want Stalagg to fill up before we open any new PvP realms. This is so that player population is spread as evenly as possible before launch, in order to provide the best play experience.”
Blizzard added: “Our top priority in planning for WoW Classic’s launch has been ensuring that we are laying the groundwork for strong realm communities that will endure over the months and years to follow, which is why we’re cautiously opening new servers to meet demand.” And the company has a bit of time before WoW Classic is released to the general public, on 27 August 2019.
