I didn't see how old Noah is but you can start with infant stimulation cards. You can download and print them from this link.
http://www.brillbaby.com/Little Reader is pretty much the same thing as showing flashcards minus the extra work in preparing the cards. The program also provides sections for phonics, stories, multisensory which helps with teaching the meaning of the words and a section for games. Of course it is always nice to have flashcards for the opportunities to teach when it is not convenient with the computer.
