My PM outbox

I have sent several PMs, one of them to Lappy yesterday, but when I clicked my outbox
today it says no messages...

Why is this? does this mean that the messages weren't sent?

Did you click on the "Save a copy in my outbox" box at the bottom of the message before you sent it?  This box needs to be checked in order to save outgoing PMs.

Will discuss internally whether these PMs would take up a lot of server space, cos if not, we'll just have it checked by default.

Oh ! I haven't noticed that box ! So i guess it must be unchecked then I'll make sure to check it next time ...Thanks KL !!

Is it also true that a user can opt to keep a copy of all PM's sent via default settings in the Account Managment page?

Here's how:
Go to your Account Management
Click on "Forum Profile" (one of the pink tabs)
Find the "Modify Profile" section on left side of screen,
Click on "Personal Message Options"
Then put a checkmark in the "Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default."

KL, question...with this setting, would we then have the option when sending a PM to NOT save a copy in our outbox?

actually, soon after Nohayo's post, we changed the settings so that outgoing PMs are saved BY DEFAULT. (ie., the box is checked).

And yes, you can uncheck this, or you can change the default settings in the Forum settings page in Account Management.
