Personalized Avatars??

I know that personalized avatars had been brought up as a suggestion by someone...and I am bringing it up again now b/c it would appear that nhockaday has a new avatar...I'm thinking this is an adorable shot of sweet Gabriel?!?   He's beautiful.

By chance, would you share with us how to do this - or if this is a feature we can all do now?  I know we would all be excited to personalize these with our precious wee ones, yes?

Thank you, yes, this is Gabriel. I'm not sure if everyone can do it yet; I think it is reserved for admins and mods. But I assure you, they are working on it!

Hi everyone!   Haha, looks like our avatars have been noticed - how astute of you Leanna! 

Actually yes, the changing avatar function for now is only reserved for admins and mods - because we are bug testing the function. (just like Little Reader, we want to make sure we get the kinks out first before we release it!)

I'm going to be announcing the avatar function some time this week just as we get all the issues fixed on the back end.   My apologies for the delay, but I assure you that when we get it up, it will be a smooth process!

No problem on the wait, Lappy - that's fine!   It makes sense that it too would have to go through the bug testing/trial period. 

Sounds great - I will patiently wait for the official announcement!
