there is no limitation on who avails of the Christmas sale promotion.
What you are probably talking about is the Discount Coupon Program which is something we are going to implement once we fully develop the new store and integrate our new (and upcoming!) products. As it says in the post, there will be a requirement which you need to fulfill in order to use your points to get the coupons, because we're not going to let just any newbie get these discount coupons without any participation in the forum community. These will serve as rewards to long time and faithful members who have already earned their points by being active here.
So essentially, those coupons will be something for you to spend your points on in the future.
