Refer a Friend

I'm new in the forum and yet I want to spread to my friends about the good thing of teaching reading and math.  I've tried to refer to some of my friends but how do I know that they have accepted my referrals?  Is there a way to find it out?  How do I do it too?

I would also like to refer someone, but it looks like the refer a friend feature is not working right now.

Perhaps I can help:) Since I have my own forum I know a little way to do it with out having to having to use the refer a friend link and you still get credit for the link.

Go to bottom of main forum page. Find your username there. Hover your mouse pointer over that and write down the number you see. I am member number 29643


Then copy this link here but change the 29643 to your member number you wrote down.
Invite your friends in an email with that link and it will give you credit just as the refer a friend page would:)
or you can click on your username so it brings you to your profile page ... the last number in the address bar on that page is your member number too:)

use this link with your member number at end instead of mine

There is no reason why someone should have to do all that. This is a feature that should be working.

I think, it's still not working.. I've referred 3 of my friends which they've accepted invitation but seems I can't find them in my profile.  When I tried looking to other's profile, I can see the usernames of their referred friend.  Anyway, just sharing the experience but would be better if it does work.

Can I ask what you mean by "It's not working?"

Is the pop-up not coming up? Are you not able to send the emails to your friends?

If your referral is not getting credited to your account, there are a few possibilities on how this may have happened:

 - Your friend did not click on the link you gave them in the referral email. (the link looks like this: http://forum.brillkids.com/?referredby=xxxxx) If they just went to BrillKids.com without clicking on the link, you will not be credited the referral.

 - Your friend was not able to register successfully within 30 days of first clicking on the referral link.

Kindly describe in more detail the problems you are having with the RAF system, so we can get to work on improving it. We've just tested this and everything seems to be working fine. Can you kindly ask a friend to perform a test and check if the referral went through? (Please make sure to have your friend click on the referral link!)

The pop-up is appearing plust the referral link.  I copy pasted it and that's was clicked by my friends.  They did go to the BrillKids.com but with clicking my referred link.  For sure, it was not due 30days bcoz I just found the website 2 weeks ago and immediately spread the good news.. 

What I mean with the "not working" was.. the notification in the user profile (see attached) for their referred friend.  I have referred my friends and still I don't have this "members referred" in my profile.

Oh no, I type the invitation and when someone tried to register, it said the number was not valid. What can i do. How do i refer someone. Do i have to be an affilated?
