^ I love how I can record voice so easily. I also love that I just have to click to make the library file run. Oh, and of course, the fact that my baby boy likes it so much more than plain flash cards.

^ This is actually the first Christmas wherein I won't be able to fly home to see family and friends.  But my husband and I will be making the most of it, spending more time with our friends here in Hong Kong! Dinner parties and get-togethers are on the schedule!  > I wish I could attend the 9-day Christmas novena mass here; but I don't think I can wake up at 3:30am and still go to work! ^ We had traditions when I was young, but haven't started any new ones or continued those old ones since I married and we had our daughter. We need to get on that though... I'd really like to have something established that she can cherish as she grows up.

^ We use the bible. He has bible stories that help with such questions and even just knowing simple verses help to explain. For example Gen 2:7 says that God made Adam from the dust and Rev 22:13 says that God is the first and last, so has always been there. This would be enough to start with later you could go into greater detail.

^ I've homeschooled my other 4 boys and learning to read was always a difficult task. Learning to read this way is so much more fun! I'm not worried about genius. > I've lived in 7 countries but only speak 2 1/2 languages. And my boys only speak one. Maybe they'll like some of these foreighn language flash cards.  v I think we somehow skipped the question, "Are you afraid of anthing others usually aren't scared of?" I'm not necessarily "afraid" of it, but I can't eat meat off a bone. It's disgusting to me. When we eat fried chicken, my husband has to cut it off the bone because I feel like a barbarian if I eat it directly off the bone. Weird, huh?
