My son's first word was mama, his second word was dada. His third word was dog (we have 2), and that's now his favorite word - he says it all the time now - no more mama or dada!

My daughter's first word was "mama", second word was "dada", and third was "ungy" meaning hungry. She loved looking at food on Little Reader. Today her favorite book is her cookbook. We think she might grow up to be a chef.

My older son's first word was "fish" I think. My younger son's is "bird" from Angry Birds because he sees his brother and Daddy playing the game. Strangely, "Mama" was very far down the list for both. In fact, my older son called me "nen" (chinese for "breast milk") for a while before he finally called me Mommy.
