Today in the mall I'm pointing out to my 26mth old the model bird hanging from the ceiling, "wow, look at that bird"... "Mummy, eagle"....
& of course it was a harpy eagle. ... I'm not sure how he even knows that but the point was I had missed the opportunity to give him the information, fortunately in this case he already knew it.
It was a timely reminder to me not to settle, to keep feeding him with knowledge, to keep raising the bar.
