I read this post in Huff Post last month, and I sincerely found it so misleading for parents who are only yet starting to learn about using technology for early education.
Did anyone else read that viral article on banning kids from using handheld devices?
10 Reasons Why Handheld Devices Should Be Banned for Children Under the Age of 12http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cris-rowan/10-reasons-why-handheld-devices-should-be-banned_b_4899218.htmlI thought that the article was poorly written, and although it presented information in a way where it felt "authoritative," it clearly missed out on citing the great benefits to using technology for teaching, too.
I was actually so happy when I saw this this morning. Here's a rebuttal - and this one was written by professors and professionals on child education. Parents against iPads, technology is not the enemy.
