This is my first post on this forum. I am really enjoying reading many posts on here about early learning. I am using YBCR with my 13 month old since he was 9 months old. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this curriculum or is using it. I believe K-3rd grade is free. What do you guys think?

K-8 students get the basics: reading, writing, arithmetic, science, and history. There is also a year's course on personal finance: saving, investing, and the dangers of debt.
High school students are well prepared for college.
Humanities: Students learn the basics of Western Civilization and Western liberty in a two-year course -- far more than most universities offer. They also learn the basics of Western literature, paralleling the Western Civilization course. This makes both courses more understandable. Students also get parallel courses in American history and American literature.
Social sciences: Students get a year's course on government and a year on free market economics.
Writing: There is a weekly writing assignment in every humanities and social science course. This means 36 essays per course per year. At the end of this program, most students will be able to write at an upper division college level -- or higher.
Natural sciences: Students get the basics of science: biology, chemistry, and physics.
Mathematics: Algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.
Students get a year's course on public speaking.
There is a course on how to start a home business.
They also can take courses in how to pass CLEP and AP exams, which will enable some of them to enter college as juniors, thereby saving their parents tens of thousands of after-tax dollars.
I invite parents to take courses and participate on forums -- to get the education they never had. Parents do not pay for the individual courses that they purchase for their children.
