I am a Taiwanese and my in-laws speaks Cantonese. 

I live in U.S.  I don't have much access of Chinese related material to help me with early development.

I can read/type Chinese charactors.  Thank you for sharing your thoughts in this forum.

I also teach my son (12 mo) Baby sign language since he was born.  Can't say it's very successful.  But he can sign "more", Thank you, please, and baby.  It's a great fun to see how he express himself.

O ... forget to mention that my baby is learning English/Cantonese at home now, and going to have French class later on, (it will be couple years afterward actually       )

Hi...is anyone have a baby around 11months old? I only give "Your baby can read" DVD to my son to watch is that enough? How is every babies going with the "Little reader" program?
Also i heard of baby going to playgroup is also good for the baby develop. Can anyone recommend any playgroup in KLN side?

hello, unbeliveable ican met a HK mommy here, I am one child mother and my boy already 18 months old. He know a lot of thing although he don't know how to talk. But i keep to do many right mind training with him everyday.  If you want to find a play group is about flash card. i know TOD or TOT in Jardon. Coco - Have you tried LR Lite?  Home edition is similar, except with more functions (most importantly, unlimited downloads).  You can check out all the downloads available here:

If you click inside, you can see quite a lot of detail for each file, so you should have some idea what they contain.

Dear Coco,

Can i have more detail of the TOT & TOD in Jardon, the location is good for me. But i couldn't find more detail on Yahoo. And i m not only looking for a playgroup for flash card teaching. I did heard "the little gym" in TST is good but really full.
+ i havn't bought the "little reader" software yet, coz my baby only like to watch TV, i try to put him on my lap to sit infront of the computer but he refuse. So i want to know how the other parents using the "little reader" on their baby.
