I'm glad that I found Brillkids forum and then this one.
For me it's the best resource on parenting and children education I've ever run into on the web.
My child, according to the after-birth medical diagnose and the Doman method evaluation - and that's a fact only on the inside, in his brain - is that he is "brain injured".
Someone told me about and let me read Doman's book about brain injured children. And from that moment on I've been doing and I've kept looking for early learning methods for him.
Because of the surgical interventions needed, I've done Doman method with big pauses, until I felt he was ready for them. For more than I month he's been learning English with YBCR. And I was looking to teach him math, but the usual Doman method doesn't attract him. So... I'm trying LM... And now he is more ready and happy than ever !
Hope I can share with other parents useful things, just as they - all of you I mean - shared to me.
