Hi, sorry about the late reply -- we've just uploaded a standalone version of the Support Tools add-on (currently it comes only with Little Reader 2.0). With this you will be able to use this new feature to automatically troubleshoot and fix certain media playback problems and send error reports directly to us even if you only have Little Math
Please download this file and follow the instructions below:
http://d2.brillkids.com/softwares/support-tools/BK_Support_Tools.zipI suggest that you save this in your "My Documents \ BrillKids" folder so that you can easily find and use it again in case you encounter other problems in the future.
1. After downloading this file, export the "Support Tools (v 2.0.133)" folder inside
2. Open this folder and double-click on the file named "Support Tools.exe"
3. In the Support Tools window, go to "Sound Problems?" and run the Audio Diagnostic Tool
- Once the tool has finished, you may play a sample audio or go back to your BrillKids software to check if the problem was fixed
- Click on IT WORKS! if your sound problem was fixed, and if not, click on PROBLEM NOT FIXED to continue making system adjustments
If you are still having sound playback problems after the Audio Diagnostic Tool has finished doing all possible adjustments, please let us know. We also request that you attach a Diagnostic Report to your reply so we can troubleshoot further:
1. In the Support Tools window, go to "Create Diagnostic Report" and click on the "Create a Diagnostic Report" button
- A black window will open, collecting your system information. Once the tool has finished a Windows Explorer window will open, containing a file named "BrillKids_[NAME]_[DATE].zip"
2. You may then send us the Diagnostic Report you've just created
- Click on the "Send an Error Report to BrillKids" button -- this will lead you to the "Report a Problem" page of the Support Tools window. Type in your name, email address, and the subject and contents of your message (please describe any additional information about the problem you are still experiencing). Make sure that you have checked the box beside "Include Diagnostic Report file," then click on SEND TO BRILLKIDS SUPPORT
- Alternatively, you may simply attach your Diagnostic Report file to your reply here, or send it to me via PM.
