So, I have loved the "Game" feature of Little Reader. TJ really loves it and and I get to kinda see where he is. Well, today I was wondering if there is such a "game" feature in LIttle Math, or maybe one coming??
As a workaround for now, I did import some dots into Little reader, and tested TJ for the first time, and he got every single number from 1-10 right (he is 20 months old). That is all I tested for now. I just played the game in the picture mode and it showed the dots and said the word, and he had to choose the correct one, then it showed the word written out (not the numeral) and the dots again. And I am ok with this method for now, as he has never seen this arrangement of dots before, so I know he is recognizing the quantity and putting it with the name, but the problem with this approach is he will quickly catch on to the pattern, and I really love the random arrangement and icons in Little Math, so was wondering if there is anything on the horizon? Or, if maybe I am missing something, and there is a way (even if its roundabout) to test right from within Little Math?
