Chinese words 61-70 cut-off

Dear KL - I noticed that some of the chinese numbers souds are cut off - they are not saying the number completely - can that be reviewed and fixed?
(see series 61 to 70)

It's working for me...

Can you tell me the following:

- What version are you using? 1.0.65? (check under Help/About BrillKids Little math)

- When installing build 65, did you fully uninstall the previous version (removing the previous library files)?

- What is your Autoforward delay set to? (next to the Autoforward button, click on the settings wheel icon).

- Can you turn off Autoforward and do manual advance, and see if you still have the problem?

- Does it only happen to Chinese 61-70, and no other presets? And does it happen all the time or is it inconsistent?

Hello KL - Thanks for fixing the series 61-70 - It is perfect now. I reviewed all the numbers and I found that the following numbers are still cut off on the last sound.

ps: I downloaded Math Reader 2 weeks ago and have not upgraded ( so I am using your original version I guess)

I do have manual control on the slide show, for me to see the next number I need to pres sthe arrow key (this is ok with me it is my preference so I can control the speed)

The cut off of the sounds was consistent in this series 61-70 which now is playing perfectly from 60 to 100 there is no cut off of any sounds.

Dear KL, do you know if the chinese numbers that I mentioned before will be fixed? I really like this tool but the sound need to be complete.

Hi Gloria,

Actually, we haven't fixed anything!

It seems like sometimes your LM is playing back with sounds cut-off for some numbers, and then sometimes for another set of numbers.

Can you please upgrade to the latest version, but make sure you UNINSTALL and remove all previous library files (including sound sets) first, then install the latest version.  Backup whatever personally-created files you need first before you uninstall.

Then let us know whether the problem still exists.

For me, the number 61-70 are ok, but number 41-50 are getting cut off almost always. Most of the numbers just say 40. I've stopped showing these for fear that it's going to confuse my baby, and starting recording my own sound. When I finish I'll upload it.

I will follow your advice and upgrade.

I am surprise to hear that you did not make any changes to the 61 to 70 series because the cut off was consistent,  It was always on the same numbers - because of that I never show any other series to my daughter- (61 series was the first series I tried)

I will upgrade over the weekend and get back to you
