Hi A_BC,
So sorry for my delayed response. I have been busy planning Cayden's birthday. But with the help of a BrillKid Vet here are the answers to your questions.
1. "I would like to see if it is possible to create a blank screen between equations."
Right now it's not possible, unfortunately. What you can do is to turn auto forward off or make it slower.
2. "I try to select a specific icon preset but all what I get is the same icon repeating again and again which may be very confusing. How to make sure all the icons in the group I selected will be used?"
Whenever you select a specific "Icon Set," you should also check the "Icon Item" option that comes right after the Icon Set option -- that's where you can specify a specific icon that will be used in the entire lesson (e.g., if you want to use only the apple icon from the Fruits set), or a random icon from the selected set (it can be a random icon for each playback or each equation).
The Icon Set and Icon Item options can be found in both the Preset Settings window (Display tab) and in the Override Settings window.
3. "What about creating playlists like in LR?"
Instead of playlists, there are "presets" in Little Math, which can have either "number" or "math" lessons in them (it's not possible to have both number and math lessons in the same preset, though).
For instructions on how to create presets:
http://support.brillkids.com/entries/20608593-how-to-create-and-edit-little-math-presets4. "Is there a way to assign the same background color to each equation?"
Just click on the square box beside "Random" and a small window will pop up with a selection of colors that you can choose from. The color you select in that pop-up will apply to ALL slides (currently it's not possible to select specific colors for certain slides). Make sure you un-check "Random" so the selected background color will be used in the lesson.
The font color used in the lesson can also be changed in a similar way (or you can make it a random color). By default, the font color is set to black.
5. "I noticed a delay between the first slide picture and the sound file. Is it just my laptop or it is a bug in LM?"
There is no delay when I play our LM lessons. You can try the Audio Diagnostic Tool that's inside the Support Tools window -- this can be accessed from the Start menu (so there's no need to open Little Reader or Little Musician to use it)

6. "If these features are not available in the current version, will be there a new one soon? It would be so great to have these options available."
Little Math v2.0 is definitely coming soon.
