LM has all of those "features" already built-in to the software. Once you have LM, you will get 1) a ready made curriculum, 2) the software which allows you to play your lessons on the computer and to customize your lessons if you want to.
The only choices which you have with buying Little Math Basic is:
a. Curriculum Length:
- Semester 1 (6 month curriculum)
- Semester 1+2 (Full 12 month curriculum)
Purchasing a BrillKids learning system entitles you to 'lifetime' usage of the software, which means you will be able to continue using it for as long as you like.
The Semester 1+2 (12-month) curriculum or Semester 1 (6-month) curriculum only dictates the amount of lesson content we will provide you. This is quite similar to buying a book with 100 pages; the pages will still be there once you have finished reading the book, and you can reread and revisit the pages whenever you want.
b. Product Type:
- Download Only
- Box Set
Getting the Basic "Box Set" is the exact same thing as getting the "Download Only" product - the only difference is that you will receive backup installer and content discs which are especially useful if you are installing it on a computer with an erratic Internet connection. The Box Set also comes with printed copies of our two eBooks, both of which you may download in PDF format if you choose to get the Download Only products.
If you're getting a Download Only product, your license key will be automatically placed in your BrillKids Account Management page. This way you can download your software installer, license key, and content files and install it as soon as possible. You will not be shipped any product, and this is why this option is much more cost effective than getting Box Sets.
On the other hand, if you're getting a Basic Box Set, your package will be sent to your mailing address within 10-45 working days from your purchase date. You will also have access to your software downloads from your Account page, which you may opt to do if you wish to start using your learning system right away.
Kindly note that either way, you will need to be connected to the Internet at least once -- this is required to complete the software activation step, which is done online. Once you've activated your software you will no longer be required to connect to the Internet whenever you use it.
