LM and Icons

Okay- so if anyone needs a bit of 'proof'...
The last three nights we have done our LM session, ther are points where my daughter has absolutely freaked out, shouting at the screen.  "faws, faws!" but I couldn't figure it out for the life of me, the equation changes, and she is fine again
Finally, after about the fifth time of my heart jumping into my throat in panic when she screams, she finally was able to make me understand...
Can anyone please tell me how to take the half-circles out of the shapes rotation in LM!???? pLEASE!!!?? She thinks these shapes are halves, and that the equations incorrect because of it! As is "three + three equals six, but because they are half circles and not whole they are confusing her!

I am sorry I have to laugh!    Your little girl is so cute!

She reminds me of my own son. My boy has his unique logic thinking. We read Beep Beep Vroom Vroom - Mathstart book together.
He saw on one of the illustrated page that the gap between one set of the two cars are not the same. He kept asking something's wrong with those cars. 

Anyway,,,back to the point.......I think the shapes are default icons for LM. You can't remove them.

You can try to change the icon sets on playback setting. You may change icon set display from "random" to a specific set or your customized sets.

You can either change icon set display on Playback setting of a specific lesson or use Override option to change Playback setting for all LM lessons.

If anything, I'd say you have a very smart daughter, Kerileanne99! 

Just to add to Elle's suggestion, you will need to avoid using the "Basic Shapes" icon set (where the semi-circle icon is included). Since it's not possible to take out just the semi-circle shape from the icon set, the only option is to stop using it. Certain lessons in the LM curriculum do specifically use this icon set, so it may be easier for you to just force LM to use your preferred icon set for all your lessons (via Override settings).

Do check out the forum's download library and you might find another icon set that will work better for your daughter (click on the "Little Math Library" in the top navigation bar, then go to "Icon Sets")
