Questions about using LM

Hi, can anyone advise for LM?

I noticed there is these 3 tags.. (under the trial version)
Courses, Numbers & Math.

If i signed up for the lifetime. Do i just follow the lessons stipulated under Courses?
When do i use Numbers & Math?

and also, for Courses, is it like Little Reader with weekly program telling us which lessons to each our kids?

and how many lessons are there in LM (total Semester 1 & 2) ?

Hi elitemom,

Yes, the intention is for you just to follow the Course as outlined.

The preset lessons under Numbers and Math are just presets that you may wish to use separately to revise stuff, or to modify for your own purposes.

I think we don't have a weekly update on the LM course right now, but will look into this and consider this.

Like LR, 1 LM semester is 130 days (26 weeks x 5 lessons), so both together will be 260 days.

In case anyone else is feeling a little lost with what to do with Little Math, we do have our free eBook available for download: Teaching with Little Math.  It tells you exactly how we created Little Math, how to use it, why the curriculum was make the way it us, etc.

This may answer a lot of the questions first-time users may have in using the software.

I have not read the ebook yet in full, however, I want to continue with Doman's red dot method using Little Math.
I thought I saw a bunch of downloads on line here about that, but I dont know where they are now, and how exactly to do this.  I would like the #'s to be shown in a random order too.  Can you help?

Right now, you can adjust the playback settings of each preset or lesson so that it just shows red dots, and in random order.

If you're following the curriculum, then you would have to do it for each lesson, unfortunately.

However, we should be releasing v1.6 of LM some time this month, which will have a "Master Override" feature that allows you to use global playback settings that you specify (once) to affect all presets/lessons.
