I started piano when I was 4 years old then played clarinet and flute.  I still play flute and piano. I read music and write music. I would love for my 3 month old baby to learn how to read music and teach him to play instruments. I sit him on my lap to play piano every week and I teach him the notes.

I am soo glad that the Little Musician is comeing out soon! I would love to take part in the programme testing.

I play two instruments - the piano and the flute (both 7 years), I can read notes ofcourse. Now I would like to show the world of music to my little daughter (14 months). She has an acess to Yamaha piano from 6 moths every day. We also sing every day (the Gordon's method). She sings spontanously and tries to play simple songs on the piano.
I can't wait to have an acess to th eprogramme and wxplore it and shere my opinions.

Awesome! I'm looking for materials to teach my girl(now she's at 2-year-old) since i was struggle to teach my girl when she was at 1 year plus. I'm a piano teacher for almost 8 years. Usually i teach students around age 5 and above who they could be able to understand my teaching way. but, with my young baby, i really don't know how to start. I teached her bit by bit, and seem like she still don't get it right. i hope this program can help me and guide me through the teaching process.

I would be interested in beta testing Little Musician if you are still looking for volunteers. I'm a medical doctor (family medicine) with ABRSM Grade 8 piano (playing since I was 5). I also have grade 5 cello & theory but exams went by the wayside as I much preferred playing in the orchestra to solo performing. We, as a family, enjoy singing & think we are fairly good at it  . My 14 month old son loves to plonk around on the piano & I am interested in exploring the theory that children are born pitch perfect & therefore it's simply another "language" to be developed.

I continue to play the piano but we now live in central America & my cello hasn't made it down here for various reasons, one being the climate.

- I was trained as a piano teacher by Thurman School of Music in Dallas, TX
- I am a piano and voice teacher.
- I taught High School and Middle School Choir.
- I have experience with classical music as well as contemporary styles.
- I know how to read music.
- I lead a music band
- I am looking for ways to teach my 9 month old son music.
- I have knowledge of various methods for teaching children music so I have an idea of what I am looking for.

    I have been playing the guitar for 14 years as well as the drums for 20 years.  I am a professional guitarist and have played nationally as well as released two professional albums.  I have the ability to read music as well as guitar tablature.  I am a professional music teacher at a music store and I am a New York high school teacher with a BA in History with a Masters in Education.  I am looking for a music program that teachers basic rhythm/musicality/music appreciation.

I would love to be a beta tester for LMs! 

My musical history/skills:
- took piano lessons as a child until I whined enough to get my parents to withdraw me
- sang in a youth group choir (all were welcome, although they did think I was good enough for some solos)
- sang in a music group in college (auditioned entry)
- know beat value of notes but cannot read music
- can barely clap and sing at the same time.  Seriously.

My husband's history/skills:
- can read notes
- plays trumpet
- sings very well but quite shy about it

My son's history (he's almost 4 now)/skills:
- has been able to name atLEAST 10 instruments in each of the categories (percussion, wind, brass, string) since he was able to talk
- was beyond thrilled to receive a violin for his 2nd birthday but we could not find anyone to teach him until he was 2.5 (private not Suzuki)
- was rewarded with the chance to play on the piano after a good violin session
- currently takes private violin and piano lessons
- can name all the piano keys, is beginning to play with both hands
- knows the beat value of the four basic notes (hasn't had exposure to notes on a staff yet)
- makes up rhyming song lyrics and plays his body as a percussion instrument while singing
- recognizes many classical pieces by their title and composer
- and is suspected to have perfect pitch

I would love to help from the point of view of a fairly non-musical person.  I know that music brings so much joy to my son and seeing his response to the program and communicating that to you may be helpful.

I am interested in becoming a beta tester for your music software.
I have a degree in music, taught music for several years, and have also studied early childhood development through the IAHP and NACD.   I attended both the basic and graduate courses at IAHP and have taught our 4 boys from birth - including music. I can read music for guitar and piano and have studied perfect pitch and relative pitch development.

In addition to my music and early childhood development training and experience, I work for a software development company for four years.  The company developed communications software for the Windows platform and I participated in beta programs for several rev. cycles.

For a few months now, I have been in contact with Tonya and she advised me to sign up for beta testing LM. I'm a classical musician, I've studied piano conducting and composition and I'm currently involved in teaching a music program to preschool children (3-4.5 year beginning age), with special focus on absolute pitch and piano. (Please feel free to check out the website: www.lapreschoolpiano.wordpress.com) I am using the Taneda method as a foundation for my curriculum. However, as their delivery methodology itself is quite outdated I have replaced it with a much more up-to-date version.

Now I am looking to add a multimedia version with could serve to supplement classes. Tonya has told me great things about LM and I would love to try it out to see if the kids/parents attending my classes could use it. I also have 2 children (2.5 and 4.5) which I'm currently teaching the program, which I could use as guinea pigs.

I am Jajvalya Shukla from India. I am a performing TABLA artist. Tabla is Indian classical drums used is solo and accompaniment. I have been following early learning methods and initiatives because I am deeply interested and secondly because I am home schooled. I have been trying to give planned exposure of music - especially Tabla - to my little daughter. she is now 18 months and she recognizes basic compositions on tabla and partially recites them.

I can read rhythm notation comfortably. I can read play simple songs on the keyboard. I have very accurate perception of musical notes with proper ear training and can do notation by listening also...

I am interested in participating for the beta testing of Little Musician. that is if I qualify for that...
