LITTLE MUSICIAN - BETA TESTING - SIGN-UP

We'd love to test the little musician!  My husband reads music and has been playing the guitar since childhood. We taught our first child to read from 3-months using heaps of handmade cards. I'd like to try the little musician with our second child who is nearly 3 months old.  From past experience i think it's a huge advantage to start during this stage of brain development when the baby absorbs it all without effort! We'll also be using LR.  Hope you'll consider allowing us into the beta-testing phase!

After reading all these great posts, not sure I even want to mention my humble musical education, but in case I could be of help, here it goes. I play piano and guitar (8 years formal education in music theory and piano and 5 years guitar), I sing (participated in our church), I read notes (it´s pretty much only the sheet music I can produce on piano, simple songs I can play by ear). I´ve done a lot of research as far as what is offered these days as music educational programs for children and I decided to patiently wait for LMs, it seems to have a lot to offer. At home we sing and play instruments, but I can hardly wait for what is to be a wholesome music teaching curriculum. I love music and I´m happy to play some, but I want my kids to experience music as a language, not just to learn the theory and the ins and outs of it, but have music as a natural part of them. (not sure I expressed that right, hope you understand  )

I have grade 8 in violin and clarinet and my husband in piano. So can read notes and have a strong musical background. We are already trying to teach our little ones piano which we have recently bought with a midi connection as other instruments are too advanced for them at present. My son 3 and 1 year old daughter tinker with the keyboard daily alongside my husband and my son is now playing very simple tunes. He knows most of his instuments through the brill kids flash cards and sounds. My daughter attempts to play by hammering the keyboard with her little hands, but she can sing the notes with amazing pitch.
It would be good to have a simple program to start that helps them understand the notes, sound, names and length, leading to reading the notes, as well as demonstrating the correct fingering for playing tunes especially for practise (as I don't know the fingering required not being a piano player). We have tried the dreamsoft piano program demo but are not overly impressed as it requires a lot of parental input and doesn't demonstrate the correct finger movements, at least on the demo version. We would love to participate in the testing and hope to be able to provide constructive feedback and testing.

Hi, I am very interested in testing the LMs with my 13 month old son. I know how to read notes and I play the piano. I have a Grade 8 in Piano and Grade 5 in Music Theory. I am looking for a music program that provides helps my son better appreciate music. This include exposure to beats, tempo and rhythm as well as different music genre.

I am very excited about LMs and hope that I could be involved in the BETA testing with my 15 month old son.

About my musical background:
I started playing the piano when I was 5 and since then my love of music has grown.
I have Grade 8 in both Piano and Theory. I also studied music at Auckland University and hold a Bachelor of Music degree. I also love to sing and was involved in both my high school choir and the University choir during my student days.

I was teaching the piano (private tuition for children 5 years to adult); keyboard (classes: 2 to 8 children per class - ages 4 years and older);and music classes for toddlers - 3 year olds. I was trained as a teacher at Forte School of Music and was teaching there for 6 years both in New Zealand and later on in Australia when I moved here. I have a fair idea of what I'm looking for in a music program for children (what works and what doesn't) since I have been teaching children's classes and had to prepare lesson materials for each of the classes I teach.

I'm interested in trying LM out. I learnt piano and flute for 4 yrs, and found reading music a lot easier than hearing it. My oldest is nearly two and I'm planning on starting her on the piano then. She loves loves music and I think this would be a good opportunity to try it out so we can figure out how we want to teach her. The biggest thing we are looking for is a program that she is engaged in. It needs to be something she wants to do.

i am so happy about Little Musician. 
My major is piano performance. I have a perfect pitch by myself.  I am a music teacher. and I have been working with many kids. So, I really feel that music is just another language for the baby. It is so easy for they to  know, to read,to play,and have fun with music. and pirfect pitch is not only a dream, I belive that  everybody has it . If we can help babies in their golden age. My baby is 20 months now, and he can hear and sing every notes which I played for him.
But I am still looking for something more system, more powerful, and more easy way to teach him. So I will have more time to enjoy with him.
Hope I can be involed  little musican beta testing with my son.

Hi! Greetings! Really hope we will be able to try out the LMs with my 2 year old tot n 6 months old infant.
Just a brief note about our musical background. I ve been playing the piano since I was 4 years old, n kind of rem what i liked n disliked about the way i was taught. Have completed ABRSM grade 7. My husband plays the guitar n occasionally performs at church n company events. Hope it will meet yr requirements.

My husband would love to beta test LMs, he works in software and does beta testing for their products. He also has played piano for the past 18 years and is minoring in music in college. He's been the one teaching our 3 year old music, while I teach the reading and math. He would love to teach piano in the future and has opinions on what should be included.

I have been learning piano and music theory for the past 1 year. I know this experience is not sufficient. But I would involve my piano teacher for testing this product. He is a concert pianist and holds a Master degree in Piano performance. He teaches young kids as well. So, we would like to work together as a team to beta test Little Musician.
