Our family has no music background, Since 1 years after born, I bring my son to different kind of music playgroup. My son now 4 years old and learning Violine for 4 month and piano playground. He can play three songs by Violine. Twiskle Twinkle Little Star and Songs of the wind and Happy Birthday song.

I play classical music CD for him everyday!

He like it very much!

Hi,
I would love to be part of Little MUsician Beta testing.
My musical education started with my elementary school where we had every day music class with the Kodaly method (I'm from Hungary) learning to read- write musical notes, vocal classes, playing on instruments (8 years on violin and recorder) and a lot more. I have perfect pitch.
I love music and now I want to pass my love and knowledge to my son who is 2.5 and also love music.
Please let me know if I can be part of the beta test.

Wow, I'm been waiting for this since my 18 month old was born!  I have 10 years experience as a piano/keyboard teacher, many of my students were small children which helped me to come up with a unique method of keeping their short attention spans engaged!  I used this method for my older son who learned to play the violin at the age of 3, and won some awards for his playing when he was 4.   When  was 10 he was assessed at his school and the psychologist said that he could be a concert pianist as the part of his brain for musical ability was in the 99 percentile. He is now also a wonderful piano player. I'm convinced this was from exposure to music at such a young age, as I am also convinced at the importance of music at the earliest possible age for children.  I also have another child who plays the cello.

I do have definite ideas of what I think works well for children.  Looking forward to seeing all your ideas!

I would like to try it on my 18mths old daughter. I can read music and have finished my ABRSM grade 8. My husband teaches guitar in a music center. We both play in our church band most Sundays. Really hope to try the LMs.

I hope I'm not too late for this - I'd really like to be part of the testing.   

My musical background:
Grade 8 cello and piano, grade 6 organ and theory, and I've dabbled in recorder (descant and alto), medieval percussion (the knackers - yes, really!), and the guitar.  I have also sung in church choirs and female choirs since the age of 11.  I have had a number of my compositions performed in my home town, and I studied music in my first two years of university, although I graduated ultimately in History, keeping music more for 'fun'. 

I can read music in treble, bass, tenor and alto clefs, although my transposing at sight is a little rusty now.   

I hope I can qualify!

I'm interested in LMs beta testing. I used to sing and my husband can play a trumpet. He's working on learning sax. Although I used to sing, I never really learned to read music (beyond percussion-- I was on drumline in HS), so I am teaching myself as I gather materials for my kiddos. As a family, we are (oh so) slowly learning piano.

We have been using LR for over 6 months (absolutely love it!) and would love to participate in LM Beta program!

About us:
-- Strong music background/experience: Played in amateur jazz and concert bands.
-- Play or have played a music instrument: Played trombone, clarinet and baritone horn for over 10 years.
-- Can read notes: Yes.
-- Have an idea what you're looking for in a music program for children: Looking for a program that's truly engaging and teaches the little ones the basics: how to recognize octaves, scales, how to distinguish instrument sounds and how to repeat a melody.

In addition, we have a lot of experience in formal software testing (including black box/UI/usability testing), and we would love to use our experience for this exciting project.
