Hi Marrtai,
About the files you've downloaded from the forum, there are indeed some files which don't contain recordings (in the same way that there are some word-only or picture-only files). Kindly check if the files you downloaded really have pronunciations or picture audio included in them.
To check this from inside Little Reader:
1. Open Little Reader and go to the Advanced Play/Edit screen (choose Categories or Playlists, depending on the files you want to check)
2. Select the Category or Playlist you downloaded from the forum
3. The rightmost side of the screen is where you can preview all the media files included in each word in the category or playlist -- if the "Audio" button is grayed out, that means there's really no pronunciation recording for that particular word.
If you'd like to check before downloading a file, most of the older files do have previews when you go to a specific file's download page (e.g., aside from a thumbnail preview for the images, a table with a list of words and number of media files for each word are shown in the page). Alternatively, when you're in a specific downloads category, you will see green check icons which correspond to the type of media files included in each file. See this page for example:

About the missing audio for your curriculum lessons, and also if the files you've downloaded do have recordings in them but you don't hear any of them, kindly try running the Audio Diagnostic Tool and see if it helps:
