I am expiriencing the audio starting too late, mostly with short words such as kick (heard as ick), when testing the sound everything sounds OK, and auto-forward does not make a difference in this respect.
I'm using a 3 yo computer with 3GB of RAM and nothing else is running.

Can anything be done about this but upgrade my computer?
