Since you mentioned that you installed offline, you may want to try downloading the latest versions of your English Curriculum files from your Account page (especially in case the versions you have are older ones).
If it doesn't help, you can use the Audio Diagnostic Tool as it will do the necessary codec upgrades/adjustments for you. You may find instructions on how to use the tool here:
