Can't install LR after re-install my window xp

Hi,

I can't install LR even with the most update flash player. Always asking to install flash player, but I'm already install Flash in the very beginning.

How to solve this issue?

Hi Jeff,

Can you try skipping the "Install Adobe Flash Player"  step? The InstallShield wizard does have this option, so perhaps you can skip this particular step and proceed to installing Little Reader right away.

Once you've installed LR, try playing any lesson that has videos and see if you get any error messages. If you do get errors, please do the following:
 - Open LR and go to Support > Support Tools
 - Click on the button, "Launch Little Reader Support Tools"
 - In the Support Tools window, go to "Install Adobe Flash" and click on the "Install Adobe Flash Plugin" button

Seem not saw this button in the dialog box. once it failed to install the player, it will quit the program. Can't skip this step.

Kindly try the following:
 - Open the Little Reader installer to start the InstallShield wizard
 - In the "BrillKids Little Reader requires the following items..." window, click on the Install button for "Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX"
 - Another window will open, saying "BrillKids Little Reader optionally uses Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX. Would you like to install it now?"
 - Click on the No button and this will skip installing the flash player
 - The InstallShield wizard will then proceed to installing Little Reader

This should let you finish the LR installation process without forcing you to install Adobe Flash Player. If you still can't install successfully, do let us know.


Can you also tell us which Flash Player plugin you have installed? As you may know there are different Flash plugin versions for certain browsers -- please make sure you have updated the Flash Player plugin for Internet Explorer, as this is the one that Little Reader uses.
