Can you kindly try upgrading to the latest version of Little Reader (v 1.6.342) and see if it helps? Note that the latest version may not be the same as the one in your software installer disc. To get the latest version of Little Reader, simply go to this page:
http://www.brillkids.com/user/#software-systems/little-reader/indexGo to "Step 1: Software Download" and click on the button to get the installer for the latest version of Little Reader. After downloading, open the file and double-click on the "Little_Reader_install.exe" file -- follow the prompts in the InstallShield wizard to finish upgrading Little Reader.
After doing this, please proceed to "Step 3: Content Download" in the page above and re-download your Chinese curriculum files, making sure that you have downloaded each file completely. Once you've finished downloading, import them to LR by double-clicking on each file.
