Hello, can you kindly confirm if you added these in your Edit Word window:
1. In the Word Slide tab:
> Did you leave the "Word(s)" box blank, or did you type or copy-paste your Hebrew word there?
> Did you add a Pronunciation recording in this tab?
2. In the Picture Slide tab:
> Did you add any recordings in the "Picture Audio" box?
> Is there a check mark in the box for "Play pronunciation instead" ?
=================================================
In the meantime, please try doing these steps and see if it might help:
1. Turn Override OFF
2. Select a word you want to edit and in Edit Word > Word Slide tab:
> If you cannot type your word in Hebrew, type it first in Notepad or Word, then copy-paste it into the "Word(s)" box. You also need to make sure that your system has the correct language support options enabled (for instructions, see:
http://support.brillkids.com/entries/20423062-how-to-use-little-reader-with-different-languages)
> Please tick the box for "Text is read from right to left" (this controls the direction used by the auto-pointer for word slides)
> Add or re-add your pronunciation recording(s). You may preview the files you added by clicking on the green play button across each filename
3. In Edit Word > Picture Slide tab:
> If you don't want to add any picture audio recordings, please tick the box for "Play pronunciation instead." ("picture audio" is the short sentence or commentary that plays when a picture is shown during playback, like "Can you clap your hands?" for the word "clap")
4. When you're done with your other edits, click on the TEST button to preview how this particular word will play back. If it works correctly, click on SAVE to finalize your changes
If the Hebrew words are displayed correctly in your word slides, you should be able to play your category just like the ones in your English curriculum (with "Word, Media" playback mode).
If you prefer to always play your category as a picture flash lesson, then you can use these Override Settings:
> Playback mode: Picture Only
> Tick the box for: "In Picture Flash mode, force all picture audio to play pronunciation" (under "Picture Flash Mode")
> Tick the box for: "Pic Audio On" -- this is optional; since you've already set your word (in Edit Word) to "play pronunciation instead" for picture slides, LR will still play your pronunciation recordings for picture slides
NOTE: In case you need to use a special font for your Hebrew words, you may set your category to use your custom font in your category's "Playback Settings" tab (choose "Custom..." for Font Type and you may select the font you want to use instead of the default ones included in LR)
I hope this helps! If you are still having problems with your playback settings, just let us know.
