Extraction Failed. No Such Interface Supported.

I just had my computer repaired because my RAM went bad.  Now I can only run a word flash file but can't run any of the other play lists or categories. I'm assuming the problem has something to do with retrieving images, video, and voice recordings.  The error states "extraction failed" and "no such interface supported."  The diagnostic file is attached.  Any advice?

Hi Lori,

From your diagnostic report, it seems that you are still using an old version of Little Reader (you have v 1.5.255).
I highly recommend that you upgrade to the latest version (v 1.6.342), as this includes all the necessary media components and codecs you need.

For detailed instructions on how to go about installing and setting up Little Reader, you may refer to this page:

In case this doesn't fix the problem, kindly try uninstalling Little Reader first, and then go back to installing the latest version.

To uninstall Little Reader, please follow these steps:
 - From your Start Menu, open your Control Panel
 - Go to "Add and Remove Programs"
 - Select "BrillKids Little Reader" and click on the Remove button
 - Follow the prompts to finish uninstalling Little Reader

**When asked if you want to remove additional data (playlists/presets, playback history, etc.), please DO NOT check/select any of the boxes in this screen. Otherwise all of your Little Reader or Little Math playlists/presets, lessons, and even the ones you've previously created or downloaded will be deleted permanently.

I uninstalled it, downloaded the new version, and activated my license key.  However I continue to get the same error.  When I try to play the pronunciation and picture audio in word settings, I get "Error. No such interface supported. Please update list of your codecs."  The picture/video plays fine.  On a deeper level at the edit word screen, nothing happens when I hit play for the pronunciation and picture audio - no sound nor error - like the play button doesn't work.  When I go further to edit with editor, I get into the voice recorder.  I can see the sound waves and everything plays perfectly.  So what could be wrong?  It looks like the program just can't access the audio files.  I feel like maybe something crucial got erased when I had my RAM fixed.  I just don't understand why the new version didn't fix it.  I didn't remove the additional data (play lists/presets/playback history etc).  I would hate to lose my homemade categories and play lists.  It would be awful if I sacrificed them without curing my error so I'm saving it as a very last resort.    My operating system is vista.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  If possible make it simple, because I'm not very computer savvy

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner

We've just looked through the new diagnostic report I created for you last time -- kindly try doing the following:

 - Download this file: http://d2.brillkids.com/upload/files/UnregisterCodecSirenacm.zip
 - Open this file (you will need an extracting program; if you don't have one yet, you may download WinRAR at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)
 - Double-click on the file inside named "UnregisterCodecSirenacm.bat"
 - Once the process is done, open Little Reader and see if the problem was fixed
