Hi Mariashar, please confirm when you downloaded and installed the free trial -- did you download it just yesterday, or a few weeks / months ago?
In the meantime, can you see "English (US) Curriculum Trial" in the Available Courses box (at the upper left part of Little Reader's Play Courses screen)? If you can see the trial course, try selecting that one and check if you can play any lesson from it
As for the English trial content pack, it might be that your browser saved the file as a *.zip instead of a Little Reader *.lrp file. You can either re-download the file using a different browser, or you can simply rename the file to change the file extension to the correct one (*.lrp).
