License key problem

I purchased LR deluxe and installed it on my compter. I used the key that was emailed to me when I purchased LR. I decided to wait until my son was 6 months to use LR. My account has that I am still on a trial plan and when I try to use the key I was given it say it is already in use. I did not get a key with the LR materials that were mailed to me. HELP

Hi tlyoung,

Can you kindly clarify if you are still unable to activate your Little Reader? I've checked your record and I found 1 activation record for your LR, which was done around the same date and time as your post above.

One way to check if you were able to activate LR successfully is if you can access or play your Semester 1 and 2 lessons -- please try playing any lesson and see if it works. Note that if you have not imported any of your Semester 1 and 2 content yet (from the content discs), then you won't see these lessons at this point yet.

Rest assured that even if you don't have a license key sticker or card inserted in your software boxes in the package you received, you may always refer to the purchase receipt you received via email, and also the Purchases section of your Account Management page.

I am still having problems. Under available courses I have "English Curriculum (US Trial) shouldn't I have LR semester 1 and 2 available? When I look under “my account/purchases,” it has a red X next to Activation 1. When I tried to update from 2.0.625 Beta to 2.0.628 it did not update.

If you can only see "English Curriculum (US) Trial" in the "Available Courses" area of your LR's Play Courses screen, this indicates that you haven't imported your Semester 1 and 2 content yet. Kindly visit your Account > Purchases > Little Reader page and scroll down to the "Content + License Keys" section and you will find download links for your Semester 1 and 2 content files there.

Once you have finished downloading your content files, simply open these files to import lessons into your Little Reader. You may refer to this Support article for detailed instructions on how to do import your lessons: http://support.brillkids.com/index.php/article/little-reader-importing-your-lesson-content

You will notice that after you import your content files, you will see new items in the "Available Courses" area (ex: "English Curriculum (US) Semester 1")

About upgrading, there's a newer version that we've uploaded a couple of days ago (v 2.0.685) -- please download that one and try installing it. Do let me know how this works for you.
