little reader screen wrong size??

I updated or reinstalled little reader to my computer yesterday and now the screen seems too small for it. even in fully expanded the words on the player are all bunched up and I can not access several functions because the rest of the button is just not there. I have never had this problem before and would really like your help to get it working right again so my kids can get back to school.
oh yeah there are a few word lists that were on my computer before like the music basics from BK that I never downloaded  so they arent in my list of stuff that I can re access and it is not included anymore because I had to pay to re download it again. is that normal? thanks

Hi PrincessClem!

If you the data appears shifted or jumbled up on Little Reader, changing the DPI Settings to 96 DPI or normal fonts will correct the problem you are experiencing.

1. Click on Start then Control Panel.

2. If control panel is set at Classic View, then double-click on the Display icon which is shown below:



Then go to Step 3.

Click on Appearance and Themes and then click on Display.

3. A box will pop up. Click on the Settings tab. 



4. Click on Advanced.



Change the DPI setting to Normal size (96 DPI).  If you have the value set on anything else, text on the HUD-1 will look jumbled on the screen.

Click OK and your computer will ask you to reboot your computer.  Click Yes.

Regarding the missing files which you would like to redownload from before, please visit your Account Management page to access the library files which you have already downloaded - this way you won't have to use points again to redownload them:

well it worked this time my husband and I tried doing just that about 5 times before we told you about the problem but when I tired it this time it worked just fine. thanks for that.
as far as the downloads are concerned the ones that I am talking about used to be part of the curriculum that was automatically on LR and as such are not listed in the download section of my profile... is there a way to get those back?? the 2 that I liked best and am missing are the action words and the music basics but I already downloaded music basics and it had me pay for it.   not a big deal I just had never thought of that.

OH, THOSE FILES!

Yes, those files used to be part of the default library for Little Reader, but they're no longer there with the current curriculum so they don't get imported by default anymore.
