Running too quickly - audio getting chopped

Hi,
I have the trial version and have tried playing the first lesson.
The beginning of each audio clip is getting cut off. For example, if it said 'ball', 'bat', 'bell', all I hear is 'all', 'at', 'ell'. I have tried turning off auto advance and even when I advance the slides manually, the beginning sound is still chopped off.
I have a fast computer and up to date sound drivers and codecs.

Hi Jayta, if you haven't done so already, please run the audio diagnostic tool from your Little Reader's Support Tools window -- go to Support > Launch Little Reader Support Tools > Sound Problems then click on the "Start Wizard" button.

thanks for your help. The Diagnostic tool didnt fix the problem but we have found it is because of our Digital Audio. If we plug in headphones and use the analog signal then it is fine.

Have you had any success getting it to with with other Digital Audio setups?

Hi Jayta, thanks for letting us know.

In your case perhaps the sound output / playback devices you're using might require specific audio codecs which could cause some differences in playback when each device is used.

Usually we find that setting your device output format to 16 bit, 48000 Hz (CD/DVD quality, whichever option is available) seems to come with the best playback result.
