Unable to View English (US) Semester 2 Lessons

Dear Lappy,

Linda here. Hope this message finds you all well.  I've been having trouble viewing the above.  Although I have downloaded from my account, I am also experiencing:
An error has occurred on the script of this page
"The value of the property 'preload_reader' is null or undefined.  Not a Function object.

Hi Linda!

Can you kindly tell us more about what's happening:
 - Which version of Little Reader are you using right now?
 - When do you get the error message you mentioned (during lessons, when customizing lessons, or just when you open LR)?
 - What exactly did you download from your account -- the LR installer, or only the curriculum content files?

Lastly, please send us a Diagnostic Report so we may troubleshoot further. In case you are currently using an older version of Little Reader, please follow these steps to create a Diagnostic Report:

 - From your Start Menu, go to "All Programs"
 - Open the "BrillKids" folder
 - Open the "Little Reader" folder
 - Find and run the Diagnostic tool. A black window will open, collecting your system information.
 - Once the tool has finished a window will open, containing a file named "Little Reader_[DATE].zip"
 - Attach your Diagnostic Report to your reply and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!

**In case this window does not open automatically, you may access the file by going to your "My Documents \ BrillKids \ Tools" folder.

Thanks for writing back so quickly and the very comprehensive guide to helping me resolve this  Here are the answers to your questions:

1)  I am currently using version 1.5.255.
2)  I got the error message when I am trying to upload English (US) Semester 2
3)  I downloaded the curriculum content files only

Thanks for your report!

I suggest that you upgrade to the latest Little Reader version first (v 2.0.706), because the new content files will only work with the latest software version

Before you proceed with the upgrade, do make sure that you have saved a copy of any personal lessons you might have (including the ones you have downloaded from the forum) in case you'll need to import these back after installing the newer version.

For instructions on how to back up your lessons using the Export function, please refer to the "How to Import and Export Files" video tutorial in this page: http://support.brillkids.com/little-reader-video-tutorials.php

(we have yet to update this particular video, and so you will find that it still pertains to LR 1.5)

When you're ready to upgrade, you may proceed with downloading and installing the latest LR version. You will find detailed instructions on how to do this here: http://support.brillkids.com/index.php/article/little-reader-install-and-setup-from-account

Once you're done upgrading Little Reader, please try importing your Semester 2 file again and it should work without any errors.
