Regarding your question about the Lifetime membership, you have probably seen some of the older posts here about the 6-months, 12-months, and Lifetime subscriptions. Please note that we do not offer these different subscriptions anymore, which used to dictate the length of time with which you can use Little Reader and Little Math.
Now, all of our software comes with Lifetime usage, so you don't have to worry about not being able to use LR and LM after a certain amount of time (you can use them forever, even for your future children!)
About your installation question: yes, you may install LR and LM in your laptop and your desktop computer because all BrillKids software can be installed in UP TO 2 computers. You can also manage your activation records by going to your Account Management page, in case you have reformatted your computer or you switch computers later on.
