Hi Tawan2549,
Does the cut-off sound happen only in certain lessons, or did you notice that it happens in most of your lessons (you may try playing other random lessons)?
In the meantime, please try these suggestions:
1. Upgrade to the latest version of Little Reader (v 2.0.7060)To check which version you have right now, please open Little Reader and see the version number written in the window's title bar, or you can go to Tools > Software Information. If your LR's version number is lower than the one indicated above, then you may try upgrading to the latest version. Simply visit your Account page and go to Purchases > Little Reader to download the installer for the latest LR version.
Kindly make sure that before you try installing the new version, save a backup of all your personal lessons first (including any extra lessons you've downloaded from the forum). This is just a precaution in case you need to import these back after upgrading Little Reader.
2. Import the latest version of your content filesHave you tried downloading and importing the latest content? If you purchased a box set and used the content discs last time, do try downloading the newer versions from your Account page instead.
If you've just installed Little Reader for the first time or if you've already re-downloaded your content files, please do #3 below:3. Run the Audio Diagnostic ToolKindly try using the Audio Diagnostic Tool and see if it helps fix the sound problem you are experiencing:
- From your Start menu, go to All Programs
- Open the "BrillKids" folder
- Click on the "Support Tools" item
- In the Support Tools window, go to "Sound Problems?" and run the Audio Diagnostic Tool
- Once the tool has finished, you may play a sample audio or go back to your BrillKids software to check if the problem was fixed
- Click on IT WORKS! if your sound problem was fixed, and if not, click on PROBLEM NOT FIXED to continue making system adjustments
If you are still having sound playback problems after the Audio Diagnostic Tool has finished doing all possible adjustments, please let us know. We also request that you attach a Diagnostic Report to your reply so we can troubleshoot further. For instructions on how to create a Diagnostic Report, you may refer to this article:
