How to Playback Your Words in Random Order
1. Click the Playback button. 2. In the right hand column, find the Order panel. 3. Click the arrow beside “According to List” to drop down the options available. 4. Click “Random”.
What is “Number of pics/vids shown”?
This playback option allows you to change the number of pictures and videos that is shown (therefore is only available when your playback mode includes media like pictures). For example if you change the number to 3, then three pictures will be shown with a single word, one after the other, during playback.
Alternatively, you can also choose “All” under the option to playback the number of pictures depending on how many pictures that have been added under a word.
The number of pics/vids shown function is particularly useful if you want to emphasize the meaning of the word, by showing different images of the same thing.
Note: If the particular word does not have that number of images added under it, it will repeat the same image(s) until it matches the number that you have chosen.
How to Change the Number of pics/vids Shown: 1. Click on the Playback button. 2. In the right hand column, find the Number of pics/vids shown panel and click on the arrow beside it. 3. This will drop down a list of options. Click the option you prefer.
Rotating Media
By checking this playback option, you will be choosing to show media that your child has not seen as often as the others. This can help them understand a word better by not just associating a word with a particular picture. To turn this function on, follow the instructions below:
1. Click on the Playback button. 2. In the right hand column, find the Rotating Media option and check the box beside it.
Pronunciation
This playback option will play a pronunciation file alongside the word (only) during playback. With this function, you can chose either to play the recording or choose to personalize the lesson and say the word yourself (You can enable a preview of the next word by reading the How to Change Flash mode Settings). To change the pronunciation setting, follow the instructions below.
1. Click on the Playback button. 2. In the right hand column, find the Pronunciation option 3. To turn this function on or off, simply check or uncheck the box.
Pic. Audio (Picture Audio)
This playback option enables the recorded sound effect, song or vocal audio to be played with the image. To change the picture audio setting, follow the instructions below.
1. Click on the Playback button. 2. In the right hand column, find the Pic. Audio option 3. To turn this function on or off, simply check or uncheck the box.
Note: If the word does not have picture audio, choosing this function will enable the pronunciation to be played along the word AND the picture.
Volume
This function determines the volume of the voice recording and sound effects during playback. To change the volume of playback, follow the instructions below. 1. Click on the Playback button. 2. In the right hand column, find the Volume panel. 3. Adjust the volume by adjusting the purple bar to the desired position.
Note: You can further increase or decrease volume through your computer and speaker volume control.
