This .cat file of Surah 001 al-Fatihah, individual words with translation, should be used after completing al-Qai'dah an-Nooraneeyah (or other similar reader) to teach the child the recognize "whole" words visually, and the pronunciation with applied tajweed rules (along with the last tashkeel) and English translation in context. For the last words in an ayah, teach the pronunciation for both: with tashkeel and for sukoon.
I like to show the words in order first, and then randomize the order, for them to truly learn to recognize the written word and the accompanying pronunciation.
