Can someone tell me about reusable flashcards?

What do they feel like? Are they an improvement over page protectors? Do they flip easly? Has anyone reviewed them?

Shadafree, do you mean the brillkids reusable flashcards? Lots of the parents here use those and love them. They do seem to survive some rough treatment, i have seem some videos of kids using them in the little reader competition winners section.  They seem very solid.
Or were you talking about something else. Perhaps if you could post a link we could help you there.

It took me quite a while before I decide to get the Brillkids Flashcards. I first tried different sorts of methods like thick sheet protectors, laminating pouches, etc. When I used the BK flapcards and the flashcards, I kept wondering why didn't I get them sooner. I especially use them for word review, some Montessori games and homemade readers in Arabic and French. They are quite rigid and they fit their purpose very well. Bottom line: I recommend them. Try to get the binder set, it has a good number of Flashacrds / Flipcards to start with.

Which video are they in? Can they be used without the binder? Like if I wanted only two word cards or wanted to use them vertically for EK.

To be honest i can't watch it at the moment or the kids.....  But it is the LR reusable flap cards. Not the video I remember watching, had a 2 year old turning the pages, with enthusiasm

Unlike the flapcards, the flashcards can be used without the binder. They are perfect for EK especially that you can write the POI with a pencil on the reverse and erase them whenever u r done.
