cannot download from word library

hi people!

i had a problem with my cookies in internet explorer 6 and have been using mozilla firefox ever since. my dilemma is that i cannot download from the word library because whenever i click on  any file, it directs me to internet explorer to sign-in to brillkids. can anyone please assist me on this? how can i download files from the word library using mozilla firefox? or where can i find the word library downloads in the website?

Hi Earljoy,

Yes, it's very simple, you don't have to use Little Reader to access the downloads.  If you look up at the menu bar above, you will see it say "FILE DOWNLOADS", and you can navigate your way to the LR download section (use the Quick Map at the top). Or you can simply click on this link which will take you to the English Multimedia LR word sets:

We all know IE is terrible (I'm a Firefox user myself), btw.. But you can consider upgrading to IE7 and see if that solves your cookies problem.

thanks for the help. however, i still have a problem. when i tried to download from the library, a message came out saying that "C:\DOCUME-1\Bruker\LOKALE-1\Temp\Things at Home-2.cat could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred. Try saving to disk first and then opening the file." and when i did try to save it first, i got a transcript of the file instead for the multi-media presentation.

i hope you can help me again because i really want to download more files for my kid. thanks a lot!

OK, please try the following:

1. Can you please try to download and auto-import other Categories and see if there is the same problem?  Please try a few.

2. After saving the .cat file onto your hard drive, can you try to do a manual import. Go to IMPORT/EXPORT screen, click on IMPORT, locate the file, and import. See if that works.

3. What do you mean you got a transcript of the file?
