Hi Denise,
Before you proceed with uninstalling your Little Reader, please make sure that you save a backup of any personal lessons that you have created or customized, including the ones you have downloaded from the forum's download library. To do this, you may use Little Reader's Export function, or the Backup function (to save your entire LR database).
1. Once you're done saving your personal files, simply do the following to completely uninstall Little Reader. I'm not sure which operating system you're using, so I've included instructions for XP and Vista / 7:
For Windows XP- From your Start menu, open your Control Panel
- Go to "Add or Remove Programs"
- Find and select "BrillKids Little Reader" then click on the Remove button
- In the InstallShield Wizard that opens, choose "Remove" then click Next
- Follow the prompts to finish uninstalling Little Reader
For Windows Vista & Windows 7- From your Start menu, open your Control Panel
- Under "Programs," choose "Programs and Features"
- Find and select "BrillKids Little Reader" then click on the Remove button
- In the InstallShield Wizard that opens, choose "Remove" then click Next
- Follow the prompts to finish uninstalling Little Reader
** When asked if you want to remove additional data (playlists/presets, playback history, etc.), please check/select ALL of the boxes in this screen.
2. Since you are going to reformat your computer, it may be best if you clear up your software activation record too. You may refer to this article for instructions on how to do this:

When you're ready to reinstall Little Reader, all you need to do is sign in to your BrillKids Account and download your software installer, content files, and license key, and then open these to install and set up your Little Reader.
