I like "
Comic Sans MS" and have modified my playlists to show this font. I am pleased to say that I found this in the LR font list supplied which made my job much easier.
On googling cursive fonts I discovered that comic sans scores over 90% in popularity.
As a mum, grandmother (and also primary school teacher) in England, I have found that this style is easy for little ones to use - and helps with their readiness for making the shapes of letters in early writing.
When they have grasped the idea that letter shapes tell them something - then the other fonts in LR can be selected easily in random style which prepares kids for any font which they may encounter in wider reading.
Obviously I am only talking here about "English". For other languages which have different letter shapes a different approach may be necessary.
