Hi Lappy,

just to let u know how great it is to extend the LR until Nov 5th, i recently downloaded the Alphabet song, this is great, my kids enjoy singing this song, overall my little wee ones and I enjoy learning.

Hi Lappy,

I did as you say, double click to get my extended license and when the program was going to open, a window came out and said:
APPLICATION HAS ENCOUNTERED AN UNEXPECTED ERROR. aLL UNSAVED DATA WILL BE LOST. SEE ERROR.LOG FOR DETAILS. THE APPLICATION WILL TERMINATE NOW.

And I have been completely unable to restart the software. What can I do? Do I have to reinstall the program? How do I get the license?

Hi Marisa, are you using the final commercial release of Little Reader (ie., v1.1.111)?
You can check this under the "Help" menu by clicking on "About BrillKids Little Reader".

If you are, can you create a System report file and attach it here so we can investigate? Under the same Help menu, choose "Report Bug" and follow the instructions to create the file.

If not, can you please attach your error.log file. It should be under:
...My Documents\BrillKids\Little Reader\Data\

The version I´m using is 1.06.86, maybe I didn´t downloaded a newer version?, anyway I send you my error.log

Hi Marisa,

yes, you should download the release version.  A direct download link for the final release version was given to all beta testers by email on the 18th October.  If you can't find it, then download it from this link (click on "Free Trial"):

I believe you will not find the error happening again in v1.1.
